Postby weazy » Tue Sep 10, 2002 9:51 am

I have a flat screen monitor on my machine but the screen comes out curved like its supposed to be on a curved monitor. Any ideas how to fix this???

this could well be what is called a PINCUSHION affect. You will need to get the controls up on the monitor and change the pincushion affect so that the outside edges become square and flat.

Give it try.... may work.

yeah the properties on alot of moniters are controled by buttons on the inside front or the outside front.new ones actually come with a software for custom pixel designs and what not.

Is it a new monitor?

If it is I would take it back and get them to :

a) Sort it out for you
b) Get an exchange
c) If they wont do either ... find out their website and play

lol "and play" good suggestion and of coarse we all are up for anything. If the settings are no help,i would say agin that it may be a hardware problem.specifically the projection tub.could be deformed, could be dirty,i dunno.try taking it back upon a harsh reply, we can ALL play with them....
