1. Buy cd-rw's if your gunna make some mistakes so then u can always reuse them.

2. i thought you could buy specific cd's to make dvd's with but correct me if im wrong

They're called DVD-Rs. They're a bit expensive though.

DVD Shrink is not so difficult to find, it's a freeware.

Not entirely sure I understand what the problem is, but http://www.doom9.org and http://www.videohelp.com are your friends in these matters.
It was once suggested that a million monkeys working at a million typewriters would produce the works of Shakespeare. However, a million monkeys working at a million keyboards has only produced 2girls1cup, goatse and MySpace.

Quick question. THose programs do what...extract the files on the dvd and hold em' or store em somewhere, beacuse what i heard takein the files off of a dvd isent illegal (?) but sharing it is.
Just my two sense.

well dcd decrytper will remove sony protections and copy the disk(or it should) and dvd shrink won't copy sony but it storesthe files on your harddrive then burns them onto a disk.

Sharing is supposed to be illegal but if you read the FBI warnings it clearly sayscopyright infringment is illegal. and that is copyright infringment
