The basic fonts in Linux aren't all that nice-looking.

The Register offers a way to make them look nice.

When installing Gentoo for a firewall I came across this site.

It has "safe" settings for your make.conf file. ... _gcc3.html

I have recently set up a linux.BSD help site, bit thin on content atm (04.03.06), But I'm waiting on a few people to write me some tutorials/scripts & papers for the site. Alternatively, you can find us on the same IRC network as ht0rg ( at channels #linux and #bsd
