About 10 miles from where I live recently the phone company started offering DSL and a local business installed a wireless network with no WEP or any other intelligent forms of security. So for a while I leeched off the network in the safety of my car till one day I noticed the network had suddenly disappeared. I could still see the traffic but had no access to it. I have access to a hard line in the building- after further research I found out that my IP wasn't on a manual list that had seclusive access to the router. So now my question is there anyway I can either get around this IP list or physically add myself to this list from a remote location.
Any suggestions or references would be helpful.

You could try spoofing your IP as one that is on the list.
