Help

Post by Negone » Thu Jan 03, 2008 8:10 pm

I am using aircrack and I am having problems

I was following a guide and I stumbled upon this problem

192.168.1.1 was unexpected at this time?

I think that Ip needs to be renewed. I type this in the cmd after searching for packets. I do just as the guide says and yet I get:

What is the problem?

You might be entering the parameters out of order. Check the usage for where you should enter the IP.

:)

This is how it was suppose to be entered:
packetforge-ng -0 -a BSSID:OF:THE:NETWORK:YOU:WANT:TO:CRACK -h MAC:OF:THE:CARD:YOU:ARE:USING:TO:MONITOR -k 192.168.1.100 -l (= an ELL not a 1) 192.168.1.1 -y fragment-0124-161129.xor -w arp-request
and that was exactly how I entered it.

Uh... I don't think you're actually supposed to type
(= an ELL not a 1)
It's just telling you to write '-l' and not '-|', the former being a lowercase L and the latter being SHIFT + \ (which, by the looks of your first post, is what you put instead of a lowercase L).
My effort to help you will never exceed your effort to explain the problem.
