First of all, you have to know what you mean by 'hacking'. Do you want access to files? Maybe a way to execute code remotely? Anyways, you made yourself look like an idiot. Congrats.bmadoff wrote:I am connected wirelessly to a router.

ping scan your net to get the ip of the other PC. Then port scan. Then... Then profit.

Re: Hack into Computer Connected to a Router
Good morning.
I have never done anything like this and would like some detail instructions if you can.
I am trying to get information off of a desktop computer that is connected to a router. I have access through the router via the wireless key.
How do I do this ping scan exactly and port scan?
Once done can I install software to that computer without actually touching it? If so, how do I send software to it and actually open the software?
I am trying to install a remote keylogger but cant get an email address to send it to them. If I did, they probably wouldn't open it anyway.
How do I get any passwords from their system.
I really appreciate any info you can give me.
Brad

It is pretty clear from your post that you have a very long road ahead of you. You miss any fundamental understanding of how exploits or even a computer functions. No-one will be able to answer those questions for you if you don't research the basics first. Do a search on the forums and check the 'how do I hack' sticky as well.
