Access point
wireless networks generally have a point of access to the wired network. This device is usually called an "Access Point." This device, in many cases will also have routing cababilities.
Any traffic routed to Null0 will go nowhere and be dropped by the router.
This same unit will likely have an HTTP interface for management. Several versions also have the ability to terminate the wireless radio service on command.
here is a link to an article that has some basic faqs.

I think he meant turn off SSID broadcasting, which prevents you from being scanned. You would connect by manually typing in the SSID onto the machine. To reroute the traffic, you could set up a timer on the router that will only allow A to work during certain times, and then shut it off after the specified time. Also, I implore you- change the default password ;) I have been sitting around way too often and getting into a network within a minute, because they have a default password.
One fun thing- get into a network, then set the IP restrictions to allow access from 17:00 to 08:59 on a business This was done before a power outage, so everything was returned to normal...

Over the wireed interface
By turning "off", I meant the radio not just SSID braodcasts.
you can still go to http://x.x.x.x and manage the device over the wire with the radio disabled.
