Some asshole uploaded a passworded RAR archive with source code I need, and tries to extort $200 from anyone who wants it. He didn't even write that shit, stole it from some forum. F*** that asshole. Let's crack it.
I have the EXACT contents of one of the text files, it's only 371 bytes. Would this be enough for efficient attack? I think the password length is 24 characters... But with known contents for one of the files, is it possible?
What tool could work with known archive contents?
Help is much appreciated.

You can do something called a known-plaintext attack, but I don't know of any tools off hand that do it for rar archives.
If you do find a tool that will do it, you're in with a reasonable chance of finding the key at least.
