Post by supersu » Thu Oct 20, 2016 4:42 am

Hi, I came to know about DHCP fingerprinting using Aruba from this sitehttp://nci.ca/dhcp-fingerprinting-with-arubaos/.
I had used Maltego from Kali and that really worked, I want to know more about Aruba, Searched a lot on this matter and now I am really confused. If possible someone please give me a detailed introduction on this matter? On one site I found that this an embedded OS and special hardware is are needed to do pentest.
If possible please help me.
Thank you

Aruba Networks makes a lot of networking and some security hardware. Aruba OS is the operating system that runs on most of their hardware.

The DHCP fingerprinting it does is really for auditing and identification purposes on the network. Maltego does something quite different in that it scrapes online resources to try and gather info on logical entities (such as a person or a website)
