Removing the description from application files

i want to take the windows shutdown application and remove the description that appers under its name (windows remote shutdown tool) i plan to rename it and put it on a server, but the description below it will give away the programs true nature. also, is it possible to change this type of files icon?

You could try using a resource editor, such as ResHack, or PE Explorer.

ResHacker is free, but its a bit limited, as its an older program. You can get it here:

PE Explorer would have to be my favorite. It's quite extensive, but it does cost a bit, if you're the type that buys their software. You can get it here:

Either way, both programs should be able to do both things that you want to do.
